Course Description

Junior Coding with Minecraft is a game-based learning platform that offers a transformative way to engage students.

 
Junior Coding with Minecraft is an open-world game that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem solving in an immersive environment. Students will have access to a world where they will need to complete and approach challenges using coding (Python), to navigate the pre-constructed Minecraft environment.
 
In the immersive challenges students will collaborate on projects with class mates, document your work and share your progress, personalise your game and communicate the objectives in the game. This will all be done in a safe and secure environment only accessible to your virtual classroom community.
 
Online Learning Environment
  • Online Courses are delivered by a live video online classroom environment.
  • Students will be able to share notes, access take home activities and liaise with the tutor via online chat.
