CAMP Information

The courses are being held in Building 8, Rooms 201a, 201b and 201c at Edith Cowan University's Joondalup Campus. The location is highlighted in the map at the bottom of this page.

It is suggested that you enter the campus from Kendrew Cresent (off Grand Boulevard).

Parking is available in Parking Lot 1b. A path from the parking to the building is highlighted in yellow. Please note that parking is limited to 15 minutes for drop off and pickup.

The nearest station is Joondalup, on the Perth-Joondalup line. The station is an eight minute walk from campus. For detailed train timetables, see the Transperth website.

Alternatively, Transperth operates a free CAT bus service from Joondalup train station. The closest stop to Building 8 is Stop No. 3 (Red CAT), Stop No. 5 (Yellow CAT) or Stop No. 13 (Blue CAT).

You can find a copy of the ECU Joondalup Campus map to download and print here.

Your child's course runs from 10:00 - 16:00. Campers can arrive from 9:45 and be collected promptly after the course ends. Each camper or their parent will be asked to sign in and out each day.

If your child is traveling alone and you did not inform us while booking, please let us know in writing beforehand (email is fine). If not, we will be calling you on Day One to make sure that you are happy for them to leave on their own.

If somebody else is picking your child up, please tell us their name when you drop them off. Only they will be authorised to collect your child.

Absence / Running Late

If you child needs to be absent during any of the sessions, please tell us in advance so that we can support them with their projects accordingly.

If you are running late or your child has to miss a day, please let us know by text or email.

What to Bring

Your child will need to bring the usual things they bring to a school day, such as a hat, sunscreen, bag, snacks and a bottle of water.

We provide snacks (fruit and biscuits). If you child has serious allergies then you must inform us and they should bring their own food.

Please note that your child is expected to bring their own packed lunch each day.

Medication / Other Information

Please call prior to the start of the camp if you child needs medication during the day or if there is any other important information we should be aware of. Any medical plans, e.g. serious allergy plans, should be emailed prior to the camp. We will confirm during the check-in process on the first day any special medical issues, including allergies.

A generalised schedule for all of the courses is presented below. Short breaks are provided regularly throughout the day, in addition to lunch, but as they may vary in time and duration, have not been listed.

09:45 - Drop off and sign in

10:00 - Camp start

12:15 - Lunch

16:00 - Sign out and pick up

Updates and Photos

We will be taking photos and videos of the campers throughout the week and posting updates on our Facebook page if you would like to see and share what your child and the other campers are getting up to!

These photos may also be used on our website or in printed materials. This is covered in the Terms & Conditions, which you have approved, but if you have any particular concerns about photos being taken, please let us know.

If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We are really excited about meeting you and your child or children at our camp sessions, and looking forward to a fun and creative camp!
